Recommended working sizes
VISUAPE makers use large, practical working canvases so graphic text & edges remain clean. Platforms can change how an image is displayed, so keep essential content away from the outer crop.
- Profile picture: 800×800 square; keep the name or central image near the centre.
- X header: 1500×500; avoid placing essential content beneath the left profile-photo overlap.
- YouTube banner: 2560×1440; keep core identity within the centred 1546×423 area.
- Twitch profile banner: 1440×480; keep the channel identity inside the central 900×380 area.
- Twitch panels: 320×120 export from a 640×240 editor canvas.
- Stream overlay: 1920×1080 transparent PNG for a standard Full HD canvas.
Safe zones and responsive crops
A banner may be wide on desktop, narrower on mobile, and partially covered by profile or navigation elements. Put decorative lines, colour, and texture near the edges; keep names, handles, and faces near the centre.
For profile pictures, preview the artwork as a circle even when the upload file is square. Leave enough breathing room that hair, headwear, or initials are not cut by the circular mask.

File format and quality
PNG is a dependable choice for logos, geometric graphics, and transparent overlays. JPEG can be smaller for photographic banners but does not support transparency. WebP is useful when a platform accepts it, though PNG remains the most predictable handoff for streaming software.
Keep an editable master at the full working size. Export a fresh file for each destination rather than enlarging a compressed download later.
