How do you add a PNG overlay to OBS?
Open the scene, add an Image source, choose the downloaded PNG & place that source above the game capture. Fit it to the canvas if OBS does not do so automatically. Lock the source after positioning so an accidental drag cannot move the frame during setup.
Does the overlay cover gameplay?
The large middle area is fully transparent. Decoration remains around the edges, webcam area & ticker, so some peripheral pixels are intentionally framed. Turn on the gameplay guide while editing, then check the final scene against the game’s scoreboard, minimap & menus before going live.
