How is estimated Twitch payout calculated?
The calculator multiplies total subscriptions by the editable revenue-per-sub assumption, adds bits at one cent each, then adds ad & other revenue entered. It does not estimate taxes, currency conversion, chargebacks, withholding, expenses or a platform payout threshold.
Why is there no single Twitch revenue split in the calculator?
Creator terms, local subscription pricing, programme eligibility & contract details can differ. A universal percentage would look precise while producing a misleading result. Use the average amount per sub from your own dashboard history when available, then model a lower value for a conservative scenario.
Do gifted & Prime subscriptions count the same?
The model groups them because it uses one editable average revenue value. Your dashboard may show different effective amounts across subscription types, countries or periods. For a closer estimate, use a weighted average from the month you are trying to forecast.

Do I need OBS or Streamlabs?
Not for profile pictures, banners, thumbnails, covers or panels. Stream overlays are image sources, so you need broadcasting software such as OBS Studio or Streamlabs to place them above your game capture. The downloaded PNG works in either app without a plug-in.
Can I use VISUAPE graphics on a monetised channel?
Yes. You can use free outputs & properly licensed pack files on a channel that earns subscriptions, ads, donations or sponsorship revenue. You still own the photos, names & other material you add, so only upload content you have the right to use.
